In December 2011 the General Contractor completed the process of windows fitting in the new section and completed the third stage of additional works. The works planned for 2011 were completed on December 20 2011. Consultations on site took place on December 5 2011 and December 20 2011. 

An Agreement to the Contract for temporary heating of the historic building of the Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice, currently under rebuilding and development process, was signed on December 19 2011, which enabled one to issue in December 2011 two partial invoices for the heating. Thanks to the agreement, a subsidy for the project from the budget of the Silesian Province was fully used. 

On December 19 2011, Consultor Design Studio Ltd of Poznań handed over a multi-branch project documentation to a tender for Continuation and completion of construction works relating to the ”Development of the Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice” project. 

On December 30 2011 an open tender was announced for Continuation and completion of the project construction works. 

On December 30 2011 Inwestprojekt Śląsk ceased to act as the Contract Engineer for the project. 15 offers were received in response to a tender for the Contract Engineer for further implementation of the project, announced on December 5 2011. The winning tender will be selected in January 2012. 

An expert control of the implementation of the project, conducted at the request of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage by the company Eko-Box was completed in December. Its aim was to prepare an opinion on the conditions of implementing the project and to assess eligibility of the additional works. This opinion has not been given to the Silesian Philharmonic yet. 

At the request of the Silesian Philharmonic, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage agreed to extend the deadline for implementing the project until 2013 and allowed the Philharmonic to use the funds earmarked for previous project tenders. After a selection of the winning tender for the construction works, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage will sign a Annex to the agreement for subsidizing the project.
