In July 2012 the general contractor ? Mostostal Warszawa SA ? in the existing building was executing the ground slab on the ground floor, dismantling works over the 2nd floor, dismantling of the chimney, the bottom slab on the ground floor, deepening the basements, reinforcement of the shotcrete walls on the ground floor, reinforced concrete cores strengthening the structure on various levels. 
The works in the added part of the building comprised plastering the walls at the level of the 3rd floor, insulation of the bottom slab in the chamber hall, electric, low-current, water supply and sewerage and ventilation installations. 
The total value of the works executed in July 2012 reached ca. 1 million net. 
On 11 and 18 July 2012 technical councils on the site were held. 
On 18 July 2012 a meeting was held with the proxy of the owner of the building adjacent to the construction site, devoted to the conditions for using its real estate during the construction works. 
The Silesian Philharmonic ordered the preparation of a replacement design of the boiler house by 31 August 2012, which will allow to start up the boiler house before the commencement of the heating season. 
In July 2012 the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage finally accepted the contents of the Annex 3 and all appendixes to the contract on the financial support for the project, as well authorized the payment resulting from the payment application No. POIS.11.02.00-00-036/08-13 for the period up to 30 June 2012.
