The Silesian Philharmonic has received 33 files named with a word or digital emblem of the authors’ choice. 32 fulfilled the terms and conditions in the CONTEST rules.
The prize in the competition, which is the premiere performance
of the Piece during the Game Music Concert, arrangement of the winning composition for an orchestral line-up, and n invitation to take part in a panel discussion on 18 February 2023 as a speaker was awarded to the piece named COBBA.
After opening the participants’ data, the jury confirmed that the competition’s winner was Jakub Tokarczyk.
GAME MUSIC CONTEST – International Music Competition for the GAME MUSIC FEST music logo – is an opportunity for those who want to present their piece in front of thousands of people in the Spodek Arena – lovers of games and fantastic gaming music. The competition is open to anyone aged 18 or above.
The object of the Competition is the composition of a music logo for GAME MUSIC FEST. The logo must last between 30 and 60 seconds and be recorded as an audio file. The contestants can attach the partiture, but it is not obligatory.
The prize in the Competition is the premiere performance of the Piece during GAME MUSIC CONCERT on the 17th of February 2023 in the Spodek Arena in Katowice (the organizer envisages the possibility of arranging the winning composition for an orchestral line-up). An additional prize in the Competition is also an invitation to take part in a panel discussion on the 18th of February 2023 as a speaker
