In April 2013 in the existing building the works connected with the execution of walls and partitions, shortcreting, internal plasters, wall lining and painting were continued. External metalwork, elevation works and elements of the interior design were executed, as well.
In the newly designed building the finishing works were continued. In both parts electric, low-current and sanitary installations were executed.
The total value of the construction works carried out in April 2013 amounted to PLN 1,833,415.10 net.
On 3, 10, 17 and 24 April 2013 technical councils were held at the construction site with the participation of the contractor, the designer, the Contract Engineer and the investor.
On 5 April 2013 a site visit of an adjuster from the company of Allianz took place. The visit was connected with the request of the administrator of the real estate located at 3 Wolności Square to the Investor concerning the renovation of the front elevation. The general contractor requested the adjuster from the insurance agency to specify the causes of the damages of the front elevation and their connection with the implemented investment.
On 9 April 2013 the Supreme Administrative Court in Warsaw dismissed the cassation appeal of Mrs. Bronisława Neukirch-Grychtoł in the case against the Governor of Silesia pertaining to the permission to extend the Silesian Philharmonic.
Owing to the opinion of the fire protection appraiser in the subject of smoke venting in the existing part of the edifice, on 17 April 2013 at the construction council a decision was made to change the smoke venting design. The designer committed to submit the verified detailed designs on 8 May 2013.
On 19 April 2013 the construction site was visited by Ms. Grażyna Kamińska ? Director of the Department of Investments of the Marshal Office.
On 25 April 2013 a representative of the Silesian Provincial Monuments Conservator inspected the reliefs in the form of mazes, discovered at the ceiling of the concert hall. The photographic documentation of the finding was prepared.
On the same day a meeting of the Investor?s representatives with the administrator of the tenement at 3 Wolności Square was held. During the meeting the administrator was provided with information concerning the manner of executing the superstructure of the so-called common wall and a request concerning the elevation of the chimney was filed.
In relation to the request of Mostostal Warszawa SA concerning the payment of the due amount resulting from the invoice dated 28 February 2013 directly to bank accounts of specified subcontractors, on 2 April 2013 an Agreement to the Contract No. 2/R/SF/ZP/2012 dated 27 February 2012 was signed. Having received the signed Agreement together with the set of the required appendixes on 26 April 2013, the payment was executed directly to bank accounts of specified subcontractors.
