By the end of November 2011, the General Contractor performed 100 % of the assembly works of the frames for air conditioning stations in the new building, 100 % of the roof drainage i.e. storm water drainage and 100 % of roof insulation together with the grit coating, without flashing. The construction works in the existing building were suspended due to necessity of waiting for the change of the building permit.
On November 14 2011 a contract for temporary heating of the historic building of Filharmonia Śląska [Silesian Philharmonic] in Katowice undergoing rebuilding and developing works was signed with a contractor selected through an open tender (Mostostal Warszawa SA).
On the same day a contract was signed with Pracownia Projektowa Consultor Sp. Z o. o. [Consultor Design Studio Ltd] in Poznań for preparation of comprehensive tender documentation concerning construction works. A tender commission for preparing and performing a tender concerning the continuation and completion of the construction works of the project was appointed on November 22 2011.
On November 14 2011 the Decision of the President of the Katowice City no. 1371/11 of October 14 2011 amending the building permit no. 789/10 of July 2 2010 became final.
On November 18 2011 the borders were presented and the border protocol of the real estates no. 52 and no. 53 (the neighbouring real estate at Wolności street no. 3) was drawn up. The Philharmonic was represented by a lawyer Paweł Koehler. The construction consultations took place on November 7, 14 and 21.
Due to the fact that the existing contract with IK will terminate on December 30 2011, the tender for a Contract Engineer was prepared in November 2011. The tender will be announced in early December.
Following findings of the meeting of the representatives of Filharmonia Śląska [Silesian Philharmonic] with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Implementing Authority for European Programmes of October 21 2011, the announced review of the project implementation by the company Eko-Box commenced on November 21 2011 by order of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The review aimed at preparing the opinion on the conditions of implementing the project and assessing the eligibility of the additional works.
