In May subsoil?s strengthening under the building of Silesian Philharmonic was finished. It was done by the jet-grounting method. In the added part of the building, wall have been erected to the level of the ground floor. Moreover, above the stage, the structural ceiling?s planking has been done. The designer has handed over technical documentation of the construction?s strengthening of the existing building and reviewing drawings for the added part of the building. 

On May 17, the Board of the Voivodeship validated the Project?s Program of Works and Expenditures for 2011, and on May 20, 2011, signed the project?s subsidy agreement for 2011. 

On May 19, 2011, the General Contractor together with Consulting Engineer met with the representative of the Silesian Province Monument Conservator, also with the investor?s participation. In relation to the postponement of building works? completion, the annex to the agreement from December, 2009 with Schuke company from Berlin has been prepared. This contract is connected with the project, building and installation of pipe organ for the Silesian Philharmonic.
